KAREN L. ASPLUND, CIC
Assistant Vice President.
Karen has over 20 years experience in property & casualty insurance and risk management. She is a graduate of Endicott College where she obtained a degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining McNeary in 2001, Karen was employed for 10 years with an international mergers & acquisitions corporation where she held the position of Manager of Finance & Operations. In addition, she has also worked as an Account Executive servicing and marketing commercial accounts for a national broker. Her current responsibilities focus on new client development.

SAM L. BOOKE, III
Chairman and CEO.
Sam Booke III is the Chairman and CEO of McNeary, an insurance and risk management consulting firm headquartered in Charlotte and with offices in Atlanta, Richmond, Baton Rouge, and Orlando. He is responsible for the Risk Management Consulting Services, Employee Benefits Services, Administration and serves on the Board of Directors of McNeary. With over 350 clients, McNeary is the largest firm of its type headquartered in the Southeast.

WILLIAM B. BROWN, CPCU, ARM
Senior Vice President.
Bill is a 1963 graduate of the University of North Carolina with a degree in Business. He did his graduate work at The College of Insurance in New York. Prior to forming Risk Management Group in 1980, Bill was associated with one of the country's largest risk management consulting firms for years, serving as senior consultant and president of that organization. His approach to solving risk management problems has been presented in numerous seminars and trade journals. Currently, Bill serves as Senior Vice President in charge of McNeary’s special projects division and Managing Director for the Electric Public Power Insurance Consortium, a risk purchasing group.

CANDYCE C. ELLER, CPCU
Vice President.
Candyce is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds an MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University. She has over 19 years of consulting experience, including positions at two international brokers, Sedgwick James and Willis Corroon. Areas of expertise include loss forecasting, analysis of loss funding alternatives, captives, and professional liability.

LAURIE Y. EUBANK, CISR, CPSR
Assistant Vice President.
Laurie Eubank has more than 20 years experience in the insurance and risk management consulting field. She specializes in providing service and advice for her clients on insurance and risk management problems and opportunities. Her areas of expertise include real estate and property management companies, public power utilities, healthcare organizations, municipalities, and lumber companies. Prior to joining McNeary in 1980, Laurie worked for a regional insurance broker servicing large accounts. Laurie holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Certified Professional Service Representative (CPSR) designations and has completed a number of courses in insurance and risk management.

JEANNE S. PRICE
Senior Vice President.
Jeanne attended Wingate College and the University of North Carolina - Charlotte and has been employed with McNeary for more than 20 years. Prior to joining McNeary in 1983, Jeanne was employed by a large property/casualty insurance company and an international insurance broker with positions in underwriting, marketing and sales. Major areas of expertise include risk assessment and alternative risk financing techniques.

RALPH M. RICKETSON, JR., ARM
Senior Vice President and Director of Training & Product Development.
Ralph graduated from the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon, with a B.A. degree. He also holds a MBA degree with an emphasis on finance from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte. He has an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation and is a member of the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management. Ralph has over 25 years of experience in risk management and consulting and was president and CEO of American Insurance Management before joining McNeary in April of 1999.

E. LYNNE SKELTON, ARM
Senior Vice President.
Lynne is a graduate of UNC Executive Program of Professional Management Education, and attended Greensboro College. She has 27 years of commercial casualty and property experience, including 22 years of insurance consulting/risk management experience. Lynne earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation in 1986 and has completed several parts toward obtaining the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Her background and training include strong emphasis in the areas of workers' compensation, both insured and self-insured programs, and specialized coverages for retail operations, media groups, and financial institutions.

BARBARA M. VALENTINE, CIC
Assistant Vice President.
Barbara is a graduate of Meredith College where she obtained a B.S. degree in Business Administration. Before coming to McNeary in 1997, she spent two years with Reliance Insurance Company as a Claims Adjuster and 10 years servicing and marketing commercial accounts for a national broker.

JEFFREY A. COLE, CPCU, ARM, AIC
Senior Vice President.
Jeff has more than 31 years experience in the insurance and risk management consulting fields. He specializes in providing service and advice for his clients on insurance, self insurance and risk management problems and opportunities. He works with all types of entities including governmental, energy, contractors, manufacturing, property management, not-for-profit foundations. Prior to joining McNeary in 1998, Jeff worked for three insurers and has underwritten large and middle market insurance buyers in all 50 states. In addition to graduating from Penn State with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Insurance, Jeff holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation (CPCU), the Associates in Risk Management Designation (ARM), the Associates in Claims designation AIC and one part of the Associates in Reinsurance designation (ARe).

KIMBERLY C. LOHMAN, CIC, CPIW, ACSR
Assistant Vice President.
Kim has more than 25 years experience in the insurance and risk management consulting fields. She specializes in providing service and advice for her clients on insurance and risk management problems and opportunities. Her areas of expertise include governmental, educational, electric cooperatives, manufacturing, financial institutions and various other businesses. Prior to joining McNeary in 1997, Kim worked for a large independent insurance agency for over 15 years servicing large commercial accounts. Kim holds the Certified Insurance Counselor, Certified Professional Insurance Women and Accredited Customer Service Representative designations.

P. DAN BRANDON, CHC, RHU
Senior Vice President and Division Manager of Employee Benefits.
Dan is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining McNeary in January of 1998, Dan was the Triangle Region Sales Director for WellPath of Carolina, Inc. He has 26 years experience in marketing Group Insurance Benefit Programs primarily to large employers. Dan also holds the Certified Health Consultant (CHC) and Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designations. His experience includes the development of Managed Care Plans and Products, Cost Containment Plan Designs, and Alternate Funding Arrangements.

DEBORA DOWNING
Assistant Vice President.
Debora is a graduate of The American Business Institute. Prior to joining McNeary, Debora was a Large Group Coordinator with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of North Carolina. She has 24 years of experience in Employee Benefits, with extensive knowledge of Managed Care Products, Plan Designs, Funding Arrangements, and Legislative matters such as IRS Regulations, HIPAA and ERISA. Debora is currently working on her Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) designation.

C. DAVID LEONARD, RHU, REBC
Senior Vice President.
David is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School. He holds the Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) and the Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) designations, and has over 32 years of employee benefit experience. David has worked with two national consulting forms, with managed care providers and a large third-party administrator. His expertise is with group benefit programs including life, disability and medical and dental benefits.

JOHN J. O'KEEFE, JR., MHP
Vice President.
John is a graduate of Providence College with a degree in Business Management. He has 20 years of experience in Employee Benefits. Prior to joining McNeary, he has held positions with CIGNA and Sumitomo Life Insurance. He most recently was an Account Executive with J. Smith Lanier & Company in Atlanta, GA. John holds the Managed Healthcare Professional (MHP) desgination.

W. CLINT ESCOE,CIC
Vice President.
Clint is an honors graduate from Georgia State University where he received his BBA in Insurance and Risk Management. Clint has over 7 years of experience as an Account Executive managing the insurance programs for North and South Carolina hospitals. He holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation. Clint is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

JANNA S. JONES, CPHRM
Assistant Vice President and Risk Management Consultant.
Janna is a graduate of University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in Risk Management. She holds the Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) designation. Janna has over 10 years experience in the risk management/healthcare industry. Prior to joining McNeary in 2003, Janna was a Senior Risk Management Consultant for Reciprocal of America covering hospitals in Georgia and South Carolina. Janna is a member of the American Cancer Society and Committee Member for Relay for Life Fundraising Event.

ANN LAMBRECHT, RN, JD, ARM, FASHRM
Vice President.
Ann develops, assists with implementation, oversees and monitors the risk management program for hospital members of McNeary, Inc. She also provides educational programs and risk management consultation for member hospitals. Prior to joining McNeary, Ann held positions of Senior Director of Quality and Risk Services at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center and Director of Loss Control for Trinity Health.

CARL W. MALMBERG, CSP, ARM
Vice President and Risk Management Consultant.
Carl is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Education. He is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers. After four years in loss prevention with a national insurer, Carl joined McNeary in 1976 and is primarily involved with providing Workers' Compensation Loss Control services to healthcare facilities in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Carl holds an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designations. Carl is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Managers.

TIMOTHY M. STEADMAN, ARM
Vice President.
Tim is a graduate of Western Carolina University with a B.S. in Industrial Technology. He has over 17 years of experience in the areas of occupation safety and risk management. Prior to joining McNeary, Tim's work history includes OSHA compliance, industrial hygiene consulting, as well as multi line loss control for a national carrier. In addition, Tim holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.

JACK A. TURNER, ARM
Senior Vice President.
Jack attended Appalachian State University and has his ARM degree from the Insurance Institute of America. He has over 25 years experience in insurance and risk management consulting. He is a member of the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management and prior to joining McNeary in April 1999, was the executive vice president and COO of American Insurance Management. Jack has developed numerous innovative risk management programs for hospitals and is recognized as an expert in the field.

KEVIN WISECARVER, CIC
Assistant Vice President.
Kevin joined McNeary in 2005 as a Client Manager and now serves in an Account Executive role. Since joining McNeary, Kevin has worked closely with McNeary clients in North Carolina in the management of their insurance program. His duties include ongoing policy management, client visitation, processing and negotiating renewals, and working with company underwriters for coverage analysis and comparisons. Kevin has obtained the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, is currently pursing the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation and is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management. Kevin has a B.S. degree from Virginia Tech and is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at the University of North Carolina.

WILLIAM D. YAEGER, CPCU, ARM
President.
Bill has seven years experience with St. Paul Fire and Marine as a commercial lines underwriter, marketing supervisor, and underwriting manager. He joined McNeary in 1982 and is currently responsible for all operating units of the company. His areas of specialization include group workers' compensation programs and health care provider insurance needs. Bill has a B.S. degree in Business from Southern Illinois University and is a graduate of the Executive Program at the University of North Carolina -Chapel Hill.

BRAD J. FIFE,CIC
Vice President.
Brad Fife joined McNeary's Baton Rouge office in 2001 as an Account Executive. Brad's expertise is in the sales and marketing of Property & Casualty insurance products and services for hospitals in Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. Brad is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. Brad is a current board member of the Louisiana Rural Health Association and the Coastal Conservation Association. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and also serves on the Education Committee for the Louisiana Chapter of The Society of Certified Insurance Counselor's.

PAUL C. WAGUESPACK
Vice President.
Paul began his insurance career in 1991 specializing in the Life & Health field. Prior to joining the insurance field, Paul had over 20 years experience in sales management in the retail industry. Paul joined McNeary in 2001 having most recently served as a Vice President and Agency Manager for Benchmark Agency in Baton Rouge.

ERIC BODNER, CIC
Assistant Vice President.
Eric joined HCIR in April of 2001. Prior to joining HCIR, Eric spent his two- year career working for The St. Paul (formerly MMI Companies) specializing in healthcare underwriting and customer service. Eric graduated from the University of Georgia in 1999 with a Bachelor of Business Administration while majoring in Risk Management and Insurance. Eric has also recently obtained his CIC designation.

ROBERT H. BOSSHARDT, ARM, CPCU
Senior Vice President.
Bob is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, including studies in risk management and insurance. He has over 25 years of insurance experience and has received the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations. He is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, The Georgia Society for Healthcare Risk Management, and the American Industrial Hygiene Association.

RANDY L. GIDDENS
Executive Vice President and Program Manager.
Randy has been with McNeary since 1989 and is the Program Manager for Healthcare Insurance Resources, Inc. (HCIR) located in Marietta, Georgia. He manages McNeary's sponsored insurance programs with the Georgia Hospital Association (GHA), and most recently, the Florida Hospital Association (FHA). These programs are designed and tailored to meet the insurance and risk management needs of GHA and FHA members. . He has been involved in the healthcare field exclusively since 1974. Prior to joining McNeary, Randy was with the GHA and Georgia Baptist Medical Center. Randy is a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a graduate of the Executive Program at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

ANGELA NICHOLAS
Vice President.
Angela joined McNeary in January of 1999. Angela's area of expertise is in professional, general and excess liability for the health care industry. Prior to McNeary, she was with Acordia Southeast where she provided various insurance products and services to over 300 physician clients. Prior to Acordia she was with MMI Companies, Inc. for over 11 years. While at MMI she was involved with the GHA insured hospitals since 1990. She is a graduate of the University of Texas-Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She obtained her Certified Professional Insurance Agent designation (CPIA) in 2001..

JERRY PALMER
Vice President.
Jerry has over 20 years of experience with Florida healthcare accounts in the design and implementation of all types of risk transfer programs. He has been employed since 1985 with major global insurance organizations. With McNeary, he will provide property & casualty and risk management services to Florida Hospital Association members through an agreement with FHA Insurance Services, a subsidiary of the Florida Hosptial Association.

MIKE HILL
Claim Specialist.
Mike manages the liability claims inventory for the Consortium, RRG and other health care provider clients. Before joining McNeary, Mike was employed by the St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Companies. He holds the designation of Casualty Claim Law Associate and is a member of the American Society for Health Care Risk Management.

REED A. SAUNDERS
Assistant Vice President.
Reed has over 30 years of supervisory experience in the claims business. Prior to joining Allied, Reed was a claims manager with AIG. He has also worked for Kemper, American Mutual Liability, and Indiana Lumbermans. His background includes handling and managing Personal and Commerical lines, including Property, Liability and Workers Compensation.

ROBERT J. STONEBRAKER
Vice President.
Bob manages the investigation, evaluation and resolution of medical liability claims. He has over 30 years experience in medical liability claims. Prior to joining McNeary, Bob was a member of the Closed File Analysis Team at St. Paul, which resulted in the development of Medical Claim Best Practices. He holds the designation of Casualty Claim Law Associate (CCLA) and is a past member of the North Carolina Claims Association and past President of the Claims Executive Counsel. Bob has also served as an Arbitrator with the Arbitration Forum Inc. as well as being a member of the American Society for Health Care Risk Management. Bob graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. degree.

TONI WICKER
Senior Claim Representative.
Toni has 10 years of adjusting experience and a total of 27 years in claims administration. Prior to joining Allied, Toni worked for Amerisure Insurance Company for over 25 years. She has experience in all lines of claims handling, specializing in workers’ compensation for the past eight years.

ELIZABETH COLEY
Senior Adjuster.
Elizabeth has 16 years of experience in all facets of workers' compensation including perfecting and recovery from the Georgia Subsequent Injury Trust Fund. She has been employed with Allied Claims Administration since 1993, and was previously employed with Crawford & Company and a multi-State Self-Insured, Fuqua Industries, Inc. From 1976 to 1990, Elizabeth was employed with Blue Cross/Blue Shield as a State Merit Customer Service Representative. She has additional background in group health claims, short and long term disability policies and product liability.

BARBARA HOLIHAN
Claims Manager.
Barbara began her employment with Allied Claims Administration in February 1993, promoted to Claims Supervisor in August 1993 and Claims Manager in February l997. Her entire work history is in the field of workers’ compensation claims which began in 1971. She was previously the Claims Supervisor for Argonaut Insurance Co., Arthur Gallagher Insurance Co. and a Paralegal for Adams, Kelley & Kronenburg in Miami, Florida. Before coming to Atlanta, she was the Catastrophic Claims Supervisor for Summit Consulting and also handled their "Preferred Client" claims. Barbara was also in charge of all excess reporting prior to being assigned as the CCS.

R. BRIAN WILCOX, J.D.
Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer for Allied Claims Administration, Inc.
Brian is a graduate of Georgia State University and received his law degree with honors from John Marshall Law School. Brian joined McNeary at the inception of Allied in 1992. His past experience includes four years as Director of Insurance for Waffle House, Inc., and one and one-half years as General Counsel for Capital Preservation, Inc. He is a member of the Atlanta and American Bar Associations as well as the State Bar of Georgia and its Workers' Compensation Law Section.
